BEAVER Corps is a production company that I own and manage, where our focus is set on supporting new and growing independent creators. Since being established in April of 2020, BEAVER Corps has helped over 10 different organizations, companies, and influencers by solving their creative needs.
When BEAVER Corps isn’t helping others, we focus our attention on developing original media, including web shows, films and animations. We’ve already successfully produced one short film, Silver Screen Suicide, and have more in development that we’re excited to announce soon.
Building a dream…
As a small business owner and the sole employee of BEAVER Corps, I’ve had to wear many hats to meet client needs. The first step is communication— connecting with brands, understanding their goals, and determining what they need to be successful. With many groups I work with, they may still be brainstorming their plans, so it’s not uncommon for project scops to change between emails. Clear communication is paramount to ensuring a happy client and a successful project.
Once the project scope has been determined, it’s time to go to work. Thanks to my years of film class educations and my digital art skills, I’m typically able to handle any task personally, whether it be motion graphics, overlays, or social media videos. If needed, BEAVER Corps has a collection of other artists, each with different skill sets and backgrounds, that can complete tasks that become necessary.
BEAVER Corps has taught me a lot, not only about properly running a business, but also about the digital arts industry as a whole. I’m excited to continue developing my company and build up my experience.
